Those changes took place about a year ago. It sucks but it's life. To get UP2A they have to be quite high up the medallion chain so they've paid their money to earn the bump in my opinion. I think it's only for million milers or diamond medillioms that have a certain number of MQMs. I usually count on one or two UP2As when I travel overseas.

No, I don't think so, indiciations are for 60 upgrades on the next vacancy. What it will do is provide enough left seat candidates to avoid forced upgrades or street captains en masse in my opinion.

And they can only get so many of them per year. I want to say 2 or 4 one way segments. Whatever the actual number, it’s not unlimited like domestic upgrades.

Meh... That rumor is pretty low on my list of believable 9E rumors. Above SLC base, but below RDU base. And of course way below G7 700's.

Though that does give me a good thought. I should start a live 9E rumor aggregator site that collates all the rumors and ranks them based on forum mentions!
