I hope it’s not that long, if the vaccine is widely distributed by spring, its remains effective without some new strain of this virus. Maybe it picks up by summer or fall. The idiot in the city ends his term next fall and rumor mill is the award winning Cuomo (not the one on CNN) might be the next AG. Two people who are worse could always replace them, you never know.

this vaccine won’t change a thing. Still masks, still quarantine, still lockdown orders. Immunity created by vaccines is not what a lot of people think. All vaccines does is train your immune system to recognize and attack the offending virus faster and hopefully reduce severity of symptoms. Overall, you can still catch it and can still spread it to others. Fun stuff right? The real entertaining part of the vaccine is the 50ish percent rate of side effects that people get from it which are similar or even identical to COVID 19. So if you have side effect symptoms you will still have to go in to 10 day quarantine to verify that it was just the shot. 2 shot series means potentially 20 days of quarantine to reduce severity and symptoms of a virus that has a 99 percent survival rate? Nah, vaccine or not we are in the long haul for this garbage.

ATL 900 is already taking some 200 routes next month. VLD, LFT, AEX, and TRI among others.

YX is only in ATL for HHH and to meet their CPA block minimums. They have always flown to DTW from their MX bases.

We have been doing TRI on the 9 for quite some time now. Not every flight but one or two a day.

YX is also doing EYW, TLH, CAE, SDF, LEX still too. Thought I saw them do a HSV flight too. Their presence in ATL seems to continue to grow. Rather them than Skywest at least but I miss key west.

I think the 700s are probably going to be parked due to Delta scope, and 6 seats have to be removed from some 900s.

Unless we get the MRJ, I don't see 9E lasting to 2030. NYC is in serious trouble, my brother waited 5 years to get into his Manhattan place, now that building is 80% empty. There is no need to do business in the city anymore, the pandemic lockdown showed people this.

That would make no sense parking 700s. Scope is only maxed out on 76 seaters. I would expect Delta is going to take out 6 seats from 22 900s to replace the Republic 170s coming off contract.
