I wear a black Delta lanyard (a lot nicer than the thick Endeavor navy lanyard). We fly for Delta. We get paid by Delta. We fly Delta passengers. So I don't see anything wrong in sporting a Delta lanyard. Personal preference I guess. Plus I get less questions asked from passengers trying to figure out what and who Endeavor is.

Anyone have any insight on why a new hire who is still in INDOC. Would be assigned their base/equipment that just so happens to match my #1 bid; however, I have yet to be awarded that in the last two bids? I just assumed these awards worked from the top down...

Same for the CAs. Curious as to how long upgrade times will be for each airframe.
Date of hire for the most junior 200 and 900 FO would be whenever the last class started, so probably 1/18/16.

Sorry, I must have been drinking when I typed that. I meant the DOH for junior CAs on the most recent bid of 75.

A late 07/early 08 hire. Won't have a good idea until the initial award comes out in a few weeks.

As was said earlier in this threat, 07 especially and 08 were big years for new hires. A few more big vacancies like this and by the end of the year it's going be a late 2011 hire. Also it's important to note there nobody on the seniority list from Dec 2011 to Jan 2014.

Upgrades will drop quite dramatically pretty soon.

So this has some relevance to the latest upgrades. Correct?

Yes. So once we get to the 10/11 hires then we're pretty much at a 2/3 yr upgrade.

Assuming present conditions continue, of course.

Correct me if I am missing something, but at 75 people per upgrade bid, even if every other month, that seems to be less than 2 years. Unless this last 75 was a fluke.

It was around 70 for the August notice and 45-50ish for the one in Novemeber. Hopefully the higher number is the norm but we'll see.
