I would think the sim would be in ATL, Delta will need several Ejet sims over the next few years.

Have you been to the Eagan Sim center recently? Where are they going to build it? The building is a triangle with a parking lot in the center. There is NO WAY PanAm commits to building out into the parking lot. Delta won't because they do not own the building. With a fleet of 40 CRJ200s, the 200 sim is going no where. They also have been talking about building a new training center on the airport in one of the buildings that Delta has a long term lease too. Oh, and they have also said they are going to buy a warehouse in Burnsville MN to build a new training center. Reality? If they acquire another Ejet sim, it will go to either ATL or to a CAE sim center. We are currently training CAE instructors because we can't cover the current training requirements with our own seniority list instructors. I just don't see any of our instructors leaving to get trained on a whim for a potential aircraft that Delta may want us to fly. I haven't heard from a single instructor on the 900 that has 1. Said they were getting trained On an E175, or 2. Heard of any other instructor getting trained on an E175. Higney85? Have you heard anyone on the 200?

They will be where ever Delta needs them to train THEIR pilots to fly E190's. 4 instructors is enough to work 3 crews for a week. We'll done. Did you also know that DGS instructors are currently being trained to, and currently teach on the 717, md80/90, airbus A320, 737, 75/76, A330 and 777. So, does that mean Endeavor is getting those too?

Why would they send contractors to Endeavor to learn to fly the CL-65 sim, if they were going to be training Delta pilots to fly the 190? That doesn't seem very cost-effective to me.

It's rediculous when people come on here that don't work here, talking about how we think we're superior..... We've all been through the washer machine of aviation whether or not it was at a previous 135, 121, 91 op. Nobody ever likes to see anyone loose airplanes. 9e lost airplanes just like everyone else has. It's an airline, a business and at the end of the day we all do the same job for different pay. Sometimes we get lucky sometime we make lateral moves but at the end of the day it's all about quality of life, most of us now have that here at 9E. Speak for yourself when you generalize a pilot group "9e" just cause one person thinks one way doesn't mean we all do. Ride on our jumpseat you'll meet a lot of good people.
