The notion that Bombardier is in trouble so Delta wants to hedge their bets is ridiculous. Especially since they are considering a C-Series order. We all wouldn't just wake up one day and Bombarider would be out of business and the CRJs would stop flying. How are MDs still flying today?

The 200 fleet is going away because all majors said so. Nobody has enough
pilots to keep operating them especially when their paying $50K to start. That's why they want the regionals to fly bigger a/c. Pilot costs same and pilot shortage lessened by less frequency with bigger a/c.

Don't take this the wrong way, just making an overall point..
This thread is 350+ pages deep on endeavor. Just in the last week or two there was a very detailed timeline for the training footprint, along with the follow up questions of bases and aircraft.
PM is great, but for specific items, not general discussion. If you are wondering if anyone is commuting from XYZ to ABC and how it's working out, sure, ask for a PM. If you are asking what every single new hire has been doing, it's a general question that will get an answer much quicker openly. Plan on 3 months of training, in that time, just plan on it being 3 months with breaks longer than 2 days at a time with a round trip ticket home. Grab a 6-pack and use the search function or just roll through this thread. Pretty much all of your questions you have now, and will come up with, will be answered. By looking at page 1 and the latest page it's a great way to see where we were as a company and the turnaround experienced.

4 weeks of indoc/gen subs/systems (0800-1700 nearly every day), followed by a week of FTDs, then 3 weeks of sims (give or take a few days either way). Then on to OE in your domicile.
Typically every weekend is off (holidays notwithstanding) during the first month. During FTDs and sims, you will work 3-5 days, then get 2-3 days off, depending on the sim schedule.
And Higney is right... All the info is in this thread, and not all that far back. I went back and read 150 pages, and saw several things posted multiple times. Gotta do some research if you wanna win in this game, the same as you have to study in training to be successful!

And here comes Alaska with his peverted 9E hatred. What a complete and utter loser.
If you stand by what you say, send me your real name so I can guarantee you don't get hired by UAL. Or if anyone else knows his real name - used to be at 9E he's now at CP- send it to me. No place for losers like this at my company.
