If QOL is important for you, you'll get off reserve faster on the -200 as compared to the -900. If you really want to fly the -900 by all means do it, but I saw folks hold a line in the -200 far quicker. Do what makes you happy, and good luck in class!

I noticed the airline profiles section for Endeavor has changed recently, from stating 9E's intention of hiring 60 pilots to month down to 30 per month.

Anyone know if this was this change a result of overstaffing for current flying, difficulty of training more the 30 per month, or perhaps just inaccurate information?

Inaccurate info. 60/mo remains.

I have heard nothing to indicate a change in previously stated hiring goals. Others may have more info.

On the APC page it lists the '60/month' line elsewhere, so I'd take it all with a grain of salt.

My class started today and we had the Director of Training come in and talk to us. Their goal is still 700 pilots by the end of the year. Currently in the mid 100's with 99 more holding CJO's waiting to start. The class that started two weeks ago has 26 pilots and ours has 25. Mixed 200/900.

It's pretty straightforward. Know the overhead panel (what a specific switchlight illuminating means, etc.) and know your limitations.
