Hes sad to have left. I don't blame him. I think compass is a decent place but has zero ambition. Stagnant as an algae and mosquito infested millpond scum. We were down to 17 lines of -200 flying. Today we flew 35 tails, 1 in CWA getting worked on, 6 in heavy checks including the two we flew out of IGM yesterday, and about 7 more to pick up by August.

It's not less than a 50/50 chance, quit wallowing in self pitty and making excuses becuase you didn't get the job. The numbers are published. First time through is a little over 60%, second interview a tad under 50%. That's over 70% hire rate. There have been very few people with the double "no" that surprised me. I can normaly tell in two legs why the guy I'm flying didn't get the job. People who say it's a coin toss are making excuses, I guess its easier to blame someone else than look at your own shortcomings

This company can shove it! NO ONE WANTS MORE NYC flying at this fricking place.....good luck finding staffing for this BS....I hope they have to displace pilots for this NYC 200 flying......what happened the last time they tried this crap?

You will find 2014/2015 hires that will take the upgrades, because (especially last year) we hired quite a few people that live around (or have an easy commute to) New York. For us pre merger guys... well lucky for us, we can hold DTW or MSP now (granted it's eternal reserve to do it, but tolerable living in base these days) And let's face it.... you can commute to PHX and work for Mesa at less than food stamp wages or commute to NYC here and start at what a Mesa captain makes. Your choice.

Both are extremely poor choices... Choose neither!
