New bases for the 200? How exciting! Now crews can take advantage of the high frequency commuter flights in to the NY area and also use the free company provided unfrequent shuttle service between 2 of the 3 airports. And access to the people and culture of the Big Apple? Great deal.

The only reason the 200's are coming is because hiring is exceeding attrition.
The $ is attracting pilots and as long as they keep coming we will keep getting airplanes and upgrading fo's. Does it really matter that much where
their based? Upgrade in 1.5 years, 2 years later Delta, all the while making top wages.

The LIRR is great and I found that the traffic wasn't as bad on the south shore roads to JFK than the north shore roads (LIE) to LGA.
