Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
I've only done that on a 5 day trip but I did get minimum day for the "day off" in the hotel. Not sure if that is the case or if they even give that much time off on a shorter trip.
You do get paid. 4 hours min day. Also if it's a 5 day which many 30+ overnights are on. You get paid 25 hours for the trip or greater depending on trip credit. Even if you only credit 22. You'll still get 25. And they're usually commutable. Sorry long response to that question

As was explained in a previous discussion on the topic (perhaps you missed it), I have nothing against the AA WO flow model. I also don't see it as working well, at least not thus far. (It may well improve as the majors start hiring more people in the next 2-3 years). Also discussed was the fact that it may never work for folks who are older. For someone in their 20's or 30's, it's a great deal.
And also as I have said before, I think the AA WOs have it over EDV/DL when it comes to longevity for retirement flight benefits. It's a great thing to carry with you in case you DO make it to AA. You don't lose all your time you spent at the WO.

Jesus, here you go again. Highflight you seem to make sense for the most part here but I'm baffled why you seem to have a disposition against getting your time at a regional that at least offers you a parachute should life not follow the "get your time and get out" model.

This, exactly. Also, when it comes to those 5-day 25-hour-credit trips, I would examine them in Rainmaker about a week after they happen. I have been shorted time more than once on them because someone seems to forget about the 25-or-better rule.

Edgecrusher - In addition to what I posted above, I have actually encouraged folks recently to go to an AA WO over EDV; one guy really wanted NY 900 here, but in the end, after we talked about it, he went with PDT for the longevity reason. That way, whether he stays at PDT for 10 years or actually flows to AA, he gets the lifetime flight bennies.
So no, I am not against the flow. But it isn't for everyone. And in reality, working for an AA WO is probably a faster route to DL these days, amirite?

If you want to work for Delta this is the place to be. If you want to work for a good regional, this is the place to be. I got hired at Delta and I bent metal back when I was a CFI. People told I wouldn't even make it to a regional, much less a legacy. Delta gave me an opportunity. I know of a few people with mistakes, blunders, etc (and really, who doesn't have something embarassing?) who have been hired at Delta.
Work hard. Improve yourself. Learn from past mistakes. Be enthusiastic about Delta. Learn about their culture and why Delta is different. You are looking to join THEIR team, arguably the most successful team in the business, not the other way around.
I'm not here to spout off, I'm here to offer encouragement. I didn't think I had a snowball's chance, but Delta gave me that chance. Start preparing for the biggest job opportunity of your life---TODAY. It'll make you a better pilot regardless of what Delta says.

Loosing ground by the minuet. We have added aircraft and domiciles in the past year, we have increased the seniority list by 40% in the past two years. Our departures have increased in the past two years. Hog wash YY

Well I guess if you call going from 3000 to 1400 back 1800 an increase. That's fine.
Sure... this is an awesome place to be.... if this is your final stop and you want to be in New York.... A 55 year old living in Jersey or Connecticut, come here, no brainer. A 24 year old living in Dallas would be a fool to come here today. Granted this could all change tomorrow, but for today.....
