Fill the survey out. I don't understand why a new hire would choose 9E over Envoy. The recruiters must be doing a great job.

Maybe they live in Detroit or Atlanta and want a home domicile. Maybe they have no interest in ORD, DFW, or MIA domiciles. Maybe they believe they will have a job with a major airline long before the flow to American would happen. Maybe they have no interest in flying for American. Maybe they want to fly in the Delta system. I can understand why.

As a guy with a 9E class date I go over to the Envoy forums and see just as much complaining over there... from a zero 121 experience perspective, it's pretty tough to validate what sucks the worst.

I'll add this again.

Some of us want to be based in NYC.

I've said it before...on the internet, every airline sucks. They're all the worst.

The happy people are out living their life. The unhappy people make a point of posting on the forums about everything they hate.

Just pick a place that's going to have a chance for you to live in domicile. Don't pick Expressjet, though...there's quite a few guys in my Endeavor class from there. What a sinking ship that place sounds like.

I was reading on Endeavor's website about something called the Endeavor Pilot Connection Program. Word for word, it states "The Endeavor Pilot Connection Program provides Delta-recommended candidates who are successfully hired at Endeavor a defined pathway to Delta Air Lines."

What are the differences between the DGI and the Endeavor Pilot Connection Program? Is this program better than the DGI? Do you still need to meet all of Delta's basic mins (bachelor's degree, etc.)?

Not sure how you read into it that way. (Edit- I do see it on their fact sheet and they really should not have put that sentence there, totally out of place) The Endeavor Pilot Connection Program is just the referral program for Delta mainline employees to recommend candidates to Endeavor and receive 2000 dollars if they successfully make it through training. It has nothing to do with getting hired at Delta. The only pathway offered at this time is the DGI.

Not sure what Union proposal you are referring to.

If it's the one with a salary attached on top of our hourly wages, that wasn't a union proposal but a company counter proposal.

BUT....you failed that MAYBE stagnation will eventually catch up with 9E. I will take my 6 year flow especially if I'm in my 20's.

The way things are going I bet a lot of new hires expect to be here less than 4 years before they are picked up. I wouldn't shoot down that dream either. I already personally know a few guys that aren't all too special that have gotten the call from the big D and United.
