Nothing quite as cool as a supersonic flight capped at 1500 miles!

Tech ops is a bulletin and a new one hasn't been published in about six months. While a fleet snap shot is posted in the bulletins, fleet changes are not announced in it.

The QueSST jets will never get ETOPS certified due to the supercruise engine. They're not going that far anyway. The future of them is uncertain, because they, like the Concorde, are gimmick jets.

There are 75 of our old 200s stored. And a bunch of comair, Chautauqua and Skywest ones too.

Yea but what happens when the cs100's arrive. Another article in sky magazine about them this month. Talks about how they'll allow Delta to replace some of it's regional flying in 2018. And they have, what, 60 of them on order I think? Timing seems to make sense.

The CS100 should do Aspen no problem. I think the planes will be growth, not replacements.

Bid Smoothing was invented by the airlines because they decided that it is unfair to them to give Pilots/FAs 11 days off in a 28-day bid period (February) and any month that has 30 days. So they adjust the length of the month so THEY benefit and not crews (aka- Maximize the amount of 31 day bid periods).

Its actually quite genius.
