Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
Pretty much everyone, at EVERY regional, got hired with the dream of being "outta there" in a few years. Not all that many have realized said dream. But at least it's looking better for the near future...
Pick a regional at which you think you'd be happy working for the next 12 years is my advice. And keep hoping.

Jesus, here you go again. Highflight you seem to make sense for the most part here but I'm baffled why you seem to have a disposition against getting your time at a regional that at least offers you a parachute should life not follow the "get your time and get out" model.

If you want to work for Delta this is the place to be. If you want to work for a good regional, this is the place to be. I got hired at Delta and I bent metal back when I was a CFI. People told I wouldn't even make it to a regional, much less a legacy. Delta gave me an opportunity. I know of a few people with mistakes, blunders, etc (and really, who doesn't have something embarassing?) who have been hired at Delta.
Work hard. Improve yourself. Learn from past mistakes. Be enthusiastic about Delta. Learn about their culture and why Delta is different. You are looking to join THEIR team, arguably the most successful team in the business, not the other way around.
I'm not here to spout off, I'm here to offer encouragement. I didn't think I had a snowball's chance, but Delta gave me that chance. Start preparing for the biggest job opportunity of your life---TODAY. It'll make you a better pilot regardless of what Delta says.

Are you suggesting they'd fire someone for that? Ha good try. In your case I think you'd move down one since I'm not too senior at this place. I know personally of a douchy probie that has 3 missed trips and the NYC cadre hasn't had him fired.

3 missed trips and not gone, how does that happen? If he's "douchy" it'll probably be his attitude that gets him caught up.
I've only done that on a 5 day trip but I did get minimum day for the "day off" in the hotel. Not sure if that is the case or if they even give that much time off on a shorter trip.
