Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

The new Terminal B will be great, but I imagine things will be pretty challenging during construction which will be starting soon. But my understanding is that Delta and Endeavor are only out of C & D.
Two questions for NYC based crews:
1- Does anyone take public transit to work and, if so, does it work well?
2- Further to the above poster's questions - are the destinations from LGA and JFK much different? Or do things even themselves up during the pairings? Do both bases get Canada trips?
Thanks!

Sarcasm aside and I'm DTW based so take it for what's it's worth but I think the trips are pretty similar from both. Mostly 4 day trips away from base. I find myself in LGA and JFK (and a whole lot in our base-but-not-a-base IND) more than I am in Detroit.
We do a bit of Canada flying from MSP, DTW, and some ATL actually out of the DTW base and I bet JFK/LGA are the same.
I think the question you have to ask yourself is really down to which one is the easiest to get to from where you live.

By car, LGA is much closer and it seems, in theory, Car2Go would even be an option. However, I've taken the bus to LGA before and it was not pleasant.
The subway to Airtrain option at JFK seems much better public transit wise (and will take roughly the same as subway bus to LGA), but getting there by car will take a lot longer and Car2Go isn't an option yet.

Thanks! We're probably going to be living in Long Island City and we're not sure if we'll bring a car with us.

If Car2Go is more your style, there's plenty of parking in the residential areas of East Elmhurst, near 81 St. and the Avis/Hertz lots, and the Marine Air Terminal, from which you can then take the employee or Port Authority shuttles into the terminals.
Also keep in mind that if driving to JFK, the Van Wyck can (and will) make your life miserable. Subway to AirTrain, while a valid option, gets expensive real quick with each AirTrain ride costing $5, unless you use it enough to do the $25 10-ride card or $40 30-day card.

I've been driving my airport car only from the apartment to Howard Beach lot without license, insurance or registration since 2013 now. Now that Ima upgrade to heavy CRJ captain, I think I should bare some responsibility. Anyone know of any cheap af insurance for Queens?
