Works on IOS, doesn't work on AOS. At least not without a login.

As worthless (and selfish) as the MEC is, I keep asking the question because it needs to be answered, and if not, there's a very good chance it will just go away. So, I WILL keep asking the questions because it's not possible to "figure out what the details are going to be." If you or anyone else don't like my question, by all means, just ignore it and press on. I definitely don't need garbage opinions/comments and when I get them, I respond in kind since the person making the comment obviously deserves it.
Yep, the MEC will get right back to you on this anonymous forum. You just have to ask your question a few more times and then I'm sure you are going to get the answer you are looking for.

You're actually right, as unintentionally as it is. They've responded a lot, usually negatively, but still the same. They hear it. You get that, right? They HEAR it. I won't be sitting on my hands for 7 years here, and you shouldn't either.

NY 200 is expected to open the beginning of September. They haven't started assigning new classes there yet because their waiting for the vacancy bid to close May 3rd. After all the current pilots get a chance to bid I have a feeling you'll see a lot of new hire classes going NY 200. That'll most likely be the new junior base. Just my best guess though. From the Initial award, only about half of the slots voluntarily got filled in NY.

For someone hired today, which base is going to have the shortest reserve/most flying for someone on reserve? Assuming relocating to DTW or NYC is a nonissue.

The 200 has the shortest reserve everywhere. I imagine NYC will be even shorter than DTW once the base opens up. By 2017 we are supposed to have 67 -200's on line.

Slightly off topic: I have a Bose A20 and a clarity aloft (TSO version) which I have modified to high hell. I plan on carrying both for a little bit to see which one I like more.
What do you typically see on the line? I would assume Telex and DC pro x are pretty popular. I just want to hear what people use as their prefered headset.

FWIW I've heard a couple captains ***** that the clarity aloft lets in a lot of noise like breathing etc. never flew with someone that had one so I can't comment. I had the A20 for a while and it's insanely quiet in the CRJ but o switched to the 850 a couple months ago for something lighter. Once you get past the increase in noise vs. the A20 there very comfortable.

67? Where did that number come from? I had only seen a mid-50s number posted for total 200s on property
