I cannot speak to that. I can say that one of them had prior 121 experience. Was very surprised that person didn't make it. The others were all GA types IIRC.

I don't think its that high, closer to 15%. Think it is due to a few different
reasons. Non current pilots getting back into flying due to $ but don't have
much time besides piston time.

People with multiple job offers so they don't feel they have to take things seriously.

People accepting other jobs while still in training.

If you pay attention, work hard, and focus on the training you'll do fine. The instructors are goaled to get you through, and will offer you all the additional help they can. I've seen instructors giving up their weekend days to tutor folks struggling, as well as the class come together and help each other.
Yes, people wash out of any training task; in any airline. It's been said may times before, but if you have a good attitude you'll get all the help you need.

10 in a month unless you are the only one available to do it.

Possibly.

No.

No.

At least regarding the ones I know about not making it thru. YMMV.

Default Operational Oral?

Can someone please share some sample questions you got on your operational Oral? I have the sheet they give in the training folder but I was wondering if I could get some more sample questions from you guys! My LOE is with D.L. Replies/PMs are greatly appreciated! 😅 (crj -200)

Q: When do you turn windshield heat to high?

A: When low isn't enough.

Annndddd you passed. This was on my oral by the way.

Seriously though it's not challenging. Most of it will come from your systems workbook. I'll pm you a few details.

There is a list of questions in the back of the 3 ring systems binder you got. Those are perfect.

Other than that place, no. But NYC is home to lots of highways and public transportation so it gives you a lot of options.
Would really prefer not to have to take the airtrain out to JFK at $7.75 a clip, and really no idea how to get to LGA w/o hopping on a city bus. Do pilots get discounts using the NYC airporter/other shuttle services? Is this the case for all airlines with bases in NYC? It just doesn't seem very practical. Not to mention, I don't think I've ever seen a pilot/flight attendant/any sort of airline employee on the subway heading to work.

Anyone have experience with it please share.

There's this thing called a car, a magical device that you drive to get to work. The airline pays for parking for you in base even.
