I'm guessing most 2015 hires will not be qualified to upgrade until Spring '17 at the earliest. (Unless they came with previous 121 time).

We are not getting "new" airplanes in '17 we are just getting the last of the 200's to bring us up to where Delta wants us to be. I imagine most if not all of those will be going to NYC because right now most trips out of DTW on the 200 send you to NYC. We are capable of taking 700's and E170/175's because the paperwork and manuals are ready but 9E is not ready to staff that yet. It would be quite the stretch for Delta and Endeavor to build NYC up and staff new air frames at the same time.
Please show me the announcement of more 200s? It's just a management rumor to attract pilots. Just like 700s and 175s from earlier this year. Until it's public it's just a rumor. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP SAYING MORE PLANES COMING.

Pilots from June of 15 are hitting their 1000 already.

DTW movement will come from upgrade and SSP. It will come but how many pilots already in NYC will take the spots? - no one can predict that. If you are coming here to upgrade be sure you want NYC because it will be years before you see MSP or DTW

Actually managment as said "look we think so but don't forget the 700s and 175s". It's a good chance we will get them.

well not exactly new but the 200's from the "unspecified carrier". management has hinted at expressjet in ground school. as well as the atl base. they did however flat out say no to 175s and cvg and rdu base in class. but they also didnt exactly say no to 700s either.

Being the WO, every single answer to every question is "maybe sometime". More jets, new type, new base, and so on.

Pay checks are good and movement is happening, that's what is on the table right now.

Pretty fair representation.

Look for right now we are the best paid, upgrade times are low. If a flow is important, we aint got one.
