Far from mythical. LGA 5 departure. Has several climb outs. Just have to read the entire procedure.
Climbing right climb at 180º to LGA 2.5 DME, then left turn to 040º, NTE 201 KTS until established 040º to 5,000, thence...

To help with the "sticker shock" of your bonus checks... The Federal taxes are withheld at 25% (typically higher than anyone here's normal Fed rate), on top of your other deductions. So a $6,666.68 gross check will end up being less than $4,490 by the time it hits your bank.
If you are single claiming zero. For us family guys it's pretty much the whole thing.

Both... the amount of work is not even close to worth the pay, and then you get to lose currency as a bonus.... just like how non lifers won't fill FTI sim jobs. The only jobs worth taking if you want a shot at moving on are the Assistant Chief Pilot or Line Check Pilot jobs. That way you still fly a little bit.

Quick question, not trying to stir a pot just trying to get an understanding. Ive been on reserve for two months and pay checks have been averaging 750 every two weeks. I'm assuming that's minimum pay for not reaching minimum hours while on reserve but we advertise 27,000 minimum pay. 1500 X 12 isn't even in the same ball park of 27000. Where does the rest of this minimum pay come that I'm missing? Thanks for any clarification

History says... we are told they have started, the negotiators have all signed a non disclosure agreement and can speak no more, then after everything is signed... we will be told the results... everything else is just rumor.

Like someone else said, it's just two turns. There really isn't anything too it. I can kinda see a newhire getting behind the airplane but if someone is handflying and you're PM its just about prioritizing. There really isn't anything on the checklist that NEEDS to be done right after takeoff unless your're unpressurized or something abnormal.
