I'm sure they'll do it out of the kindness of their heart, like always.

Yes it does read Letter 12-04 Section 3 Paragraph d.
"When AA is hiring, Eagle shall release a minimum of twenty-five (25) Eagle pilots per month who have accepted pilot positions at AA under the Preferential Hiring Program to fill AA new hire Positions, provided that, if American becomes obligated to offer sufficient pilot positions to fill a minimum of 50% of each new hire class pursuant to paragraph 4 of the separate Agreement, then Eagle shall use its best efforts to release a sufficient number of pilots per month to fill such classes, but in no event less than 25."

I stand corrected. The interesting thing is that paragraph says "minimum of 25 pilots with no reference to the 35%. The prior letter 12-03 states 35% with no reference to the minimum 25 pilots. Sounds like combined, it is up to 35% but never less than 25 regardless and we know it won't ever be more than 25 so 25 it is... regardless of class size at AA.

That's what I was saying! It's a min of 25 regardless of the percentage.

I happily stand corrected too. I had only ever read 12-03, but 12-04 does say that. Great catch. The best part about it is that it doesn't say they can meter it to 25, it says a minimum of 25.

Selections and butts in the seat are two different things. Accountability will be determined when PPs are sent to class.

I don't disagree but 30 seats isn't a bad start.
