The PP contract says 25 pilots awarded AA class slots regardless of the 40th E175. What does change is the percentage. 35% percent of the class before the 40th and 50% of the class once the 40th is on property. But in either case it shall not be lower than 25 pilots.

The flow is looking marginal if they want to expand envoy. I'm requesting an alternate. Because if they go less than 25 a month I'm diverting. I'm tired of being played by this place. A decade of it is enough.

I don't think that is true. Could you list exactly where you see a minimum of 25 before the 40th? I would love it if that was true but what I'm reading about the 35% makes no mention of a minimum.

I suppose I should do the same: Letter 12-03 is the original PP agreement, it just states a minimum of 35%. Letter 15-01 (the Comair II agreement) amends the flow, but states that 12-03 remains "in full force and effect" then adds that part about the 40th 175 triggering the 50%/25 minimum.

Just for the record 25 is about 35% of 72, so far this year they've been doing about that many per month anyway.

I don't believe that is correct. Can you provide a reference that backs up your claim?

Letter 12-03 and 12-05 plus a union letter that was sent out when we agreed to the contract back in 2014. I probably read it wrong since I'm not a lawyer. But anything less than 25 for me is not acceptable since they say we are fillling classes.

All in all I'm tired of the carrot being dangled out in front of me.

Found it. December 7, 2014 ENY MEC letter Titled TA Vote.

It's in the notes. I tried to cut and past but my phone won't do it. If you have gmail and can look it up it's there!

It specifically states 35% but no less than 25 pilots. Then states the 50% but no less than 25 pilots.

Ill upload it if someone will pm me on how to do it. It's there, black and white.

ENY MEC Email

Protect Pilots Hired by Envoy On or Before October 11, 2011

- After a total of 824 Envoy Pilots have flowed through to AA, if AA is hiring pilots, 35% of all AA new hire training slots, NO LESS THAN 25 PER MONTH, shall go to Envoy pilots who are placed on the Envoy master seniority list on or before October 11, 2011.

-Effective with the delivery of the 40th EMB-175 as set forth in Appendix D, and assuming there is still pilots who where added to the master seniority before October 11, 2011 who have yet been offered a flow through opportunity, 50% of all AA new hire training slots, NO LESS THAN 25 PER MONTH, shall go to such Envoy pilots, until the point in time when the next pilot on the seniority list to be offered a flow through opportunity was hired after October 11, 2011.

Unless they took the first part out right before we voted, this is the language. (sorry I couldn't upload the image, so I typed it out.)

Unfortunately, it's what the contract says that counts and the contract does not mention a 25 pilot minimum for the 35% group.
