As E175 Driver is certain to point out shortly- Envoy is clearly the better choice as we fly 175s which have autothrottles and will make A320 training so much easier. 😂

It really is a non choice right now for pilots up north. If you go anywhere else other than endeavor you are crazy.
Envoy's not necessarily getting pilots from south...I can tell you from personal experience that we're not exclusively getting them. Even guys living in Miami are going to places like Skywest or Endeavor or even not applying like otherwise anticipated. Word is getting out that it's not as rosy here as broadcast by recruiting.

If the company trips this up and allows hiring to go down then stuffs going to hit the fan like 2013-14 and people will be bailing left and right.

Envoy's only pros right now are quick upgrade, decent/OKish QOL/schedule (it's not as bad as MESA/PDT), bases, and decent pay.

Nothing on this list is unique to Envoy. All of these except for bases are sub par compared to other airlines right now.

Good! Because this is the truth. People need to know the truth. TSA has better work rules, hell everyone else has better TA /LOA/work rules than us, including BrownStreak and Piedmont. Things are not equality, amongst WO. The other 2 are better. Honestly! Envoy is least favorable amongst WO. E175, extensive cadet program, Dallas base & ORD base, LGA base, MIA base, and RTP, has all played a huge role in attracting more new hires, not the 9-10yr flow!

A increasing the bonus was not a pay raise either! Pay attention Neophytes!

Also our Pay Banding sucks! Outdated and if that paper is part of any new TA/LOA , it needs to be burned with a high powered blow torch 50 feet away from the negotiation table.

Let's not forget, IIRC, we are still on the post BK / merger double concessionary contract. So all of these small things that we enjoy today are simply temporary LOA items with no long term stability mechanisms. I.E. new hire bonuses, retention bonuses (that expire next quarter), commuter hotels, ect. All these things could go away at a moment's notice, if AAG / Envoy decide to no longer entertain them. We could effectively be right back where we were in 2014. Having said that, I doubt our company leaders would be willing to shoot themselves in the foot, and kill off the pilot group by doing away with these items. But without them being written into a long term contract, it gives AAG the ability to be able to do away with them, if they should ever decide that Eaglevoy isn't worth that effort anymore. Endeavor was smart to solidify all of those temporary LOA items into a solid long term contract. If anything, it gave their workgroup a sense of stability.

I agree. I’ve noticed Delta takes pride in its employees being industry leader in pay and has translated in great service. AAG does it just to compete, as Parker always says, we have to compete. He says the word compete constantly! In Parker’s eyes, better work rules and pay raises for ENY will only come in order to be competitive with Endeavor & Delta. Only then will we be then taken care of. It’s like a price war strategy.

When benchmarks are known by AAG executives managing Regional feed, they will know what ENY needs to compete. Let’s hope they want significant contract language improvements and pay raises so that we can compete. If AAG sees data & proof that we can still be competitive recruiting and performing without contract language, work rules, and pay improvements, 2018 will be business as usual. We will know that AAG is not confident in their basic economy and premium economy push to increase revenue and mainline profit margins. On the other spectrum, if these new product offerings roll out and stabilize nicely and data reflect a success along with new route structures, and seasonal offerings, ENY and the other “Me Too” WO’s may get the increases we’re seeking to match & compete. At the very least contract Language & reserve rule improvements will come home to roost sooner rather than later. It’s “unEnvoyable.”

Endeavor pilots average 120-130 credit with a typical good month of 160 credit.

Let that sink in how much more money they make.....

Thats almost double envoys average credit plus endeavors new pay rate.....pilots are making bank

They are easily making three to four times more then the average envoy pilot

Switching is a ....
No brainer

Still unclear, did you go to EDV? And weren't you just on here a few days ago saying that pay raises were coming to Envoy?
