Historically, and generally I would agree but DL at least was starting to show a slight preference for aviation university grads, or at least giving them bonus points in app scoring.
No indication that applies anywhere else, and I would not attend a brand-name aviation university just to get possible preference, or the R-ATP... there are much cheaper ways to do that. If money is no option, sure why, not do a package deal. Although if it were me I'd look somewhere other than Prescott... I drove through on a camping trip and it didn't like there were any coeds in sight.

Kidding, of course.

In fact, it went so well that the bar had to be raised. Significantly. These cadets were flying circles around military aviators and Part 91 Joe's. I know, I've seen the stats. Essentially, the university trains them for a 121 flying career and they literally show up on day one and hit the ground running. The other motivator here is a career at American Airlines right out of the gate. So you can say that AA has actually done far better at hiring the university aviators than Delta as was mentioned in an earlier post. AA figured out this little secret when they saw how well the pipeline cadets were performing. After finally flushing all the lifers out in the future, I can see Envoy being 100% pipeline cadets.

What doesn't make ANY sense is how ERAU and a few others can justify charging an arm, leg and a first born when its so apparent that going there vs a mom and pop school with college on the side will suffice just fine (heck, you could get a seniority number, (pre COVID at least) a lot faster by waiting till the regionals to do college online) while spending probably just 25 cents on the dollar, if that!
I mean has ERAU brainwashed young aviations and parents THAT much? I'd love to hear any explanation from anyone, because I sure as heck can't figure out why.

No, of course not, that program didn’t exist then. Too bad, it would have prevented you from ever being hired.
