Default 45k bonus eligibility

Hey,

I'm recently off IOE on the 175 at SkyWest. Thinking about moving to Envoy. Does the 45k bonus only apply to direct entry captains, or does anybody with prior 121 get it?

Thanks

Have to be DEC qualified for the 45k.

Are they still accepting DECs from other wholly-owneds?

You also need a clean training record. If you’re coming here as a DEC your options are 145 LGA, 145 ORD, or CRJ ORD.

Depends on your flying background prior to your IOE at Skywest. If you are near 950hrs of qualifying time for DEC’s ( 121 SIC, military PIC, part 135 Jet PIC or a combination of them nearing 950 hrs) then Envoy $43k DECs bonus is at your grasp.

If this is your first jet type, not near 950hrs (Part 121 SIC part, no part 135 qualifying PIC time, and no military PIC flight time) then you are no bueno for the $43K DECs bonus friend.

You never know how long the hiring wave at the regionals will last, build your flight time up, pull the trigger where you want to be long term, or as a DEC. Mainline is everyone’s goal, yet still no telling how long this wave will last. Good luck.

I have over 1000 part 135 Jet multi crew SIC time. (Airplane requires 2 pilots). Does that count?

Actually, doesn't it depend on what section of 135 he was operating under? I'm pretty sure there are sub-sections of both Parts 91 and 135 that qualify.

OP needs to contact our recruiting department and verify. They will confirm with training.

That being said, you really need to want to come here for reasons beyond the bonus, or in a few weeks you will be miserable and eventually posting questions about, "Do I need to pay back the bonus if I leave?", or "My $45k bonus was only $30k after taxes. I want to leave. Do I need to pay back all $45K?", etc.

The OP has part 135 SIC.

IF OP had PIC time would be a different story, would then depend on the seat count of the Part 135 PIC dual crew passenger jet. I’ve had friends with SIC from part 135 passenger jet go elsewhere unable to enter as DECs for the bonus.
