Many, many military guys do this, including 3 from my class (two at least stayed and rode out indoc week lol). They got various assignments but the company allowed them to re-pick when they came back, so all are now lineholders on the 175 in DFW right out of training. No reserve. No inferior jets. No undesirable bases, and the flow clock keeps running. Good way to do it.

Probably true but with Envoy rewarding it, management is ok with it obviously. May as well take advantage if you are properly positioned to do so.

They aren't "rewarding" it or are necessarily "ok" with it happening. It's the law that they have to allow it.

Neither envoy nor any other company can do anything about that because of USERRA and rightfully so. Basic starts every Monday and I think they are hiring.
