I've found many of the captains people don't like are just captains that will call you out on being a bad pilot. Too many just say "I'm easy".

Exactly, I flew with one of the “bad” captains on my second trip out of IOE. I knew who he was so just made sure I was talking my way through what I was doing and if he had any suggestions on technique. Turned out to be a decent trip.

So far I have to admit I have not flown with a “bad” captain. With that said, some of the friendlier ones are based in NY. Those trips were a lot more fun than the DFW flying I do now

I flew with one guy that wanted to show me pictures of his boat all 4 days. There are a couple of tin foil hat types that were entertaining.

One that is a raging A hole with a fuse a millimeter long and one guy had the auto throttle button named after him.

Is anyone else having trouble submitting there bid through AutoBid? I am using the correct version and just checked the HIB through FOS. I am changing bases next month and wonder if that is the problem. I did send an email to MH, so will report back if I hear anything.

I didn’t want to say it, but that’s who I was thinking. Not a bad guy, but he was definitely high stress on the flight deck. One of the few that I certainly preferred not to fly with again.

He definitely won’t be moving on to AA.
