15.G.4 will continue to be a thing. I was totally studying CBTs and decided to *7 every FO in the company who hasn’t already been awarded a CA slot. Only 72 (with a couple that were close) have the 950+ hours. There are 90 slots on this bid. Enjoy. Make sure your 3D is filled out properly.

You are leaving 8000+ dollars on the table over the course of two years if you don’t. Kind of dumb to do when you know everyone is going to displace.

I agree. There was a statement here that 15.G.4 was going to not happen. It had a lot of people worried and thinking about preference bidding. I was merely stating that’s not the case.

If you look at mine, it would look like I’m not eligible, but I already upgraded.
You have to be able to go deeper than *7 to see the full picture.
That being said, I think the 15.G.4 will still get some people.
I also agree you should displace and not preference to take the $8K.
