I am certain most of those beat up and abused DECs are looking forward to holding a line in the 175. It will be a breath of fresh air with a massive QOL improvements across the board. Imagine getting a call at 4AM to come and sit airport SB for 8 hours at 6AM and at 1:50PM, scheduling calling you to do an ABE turn because it is legal (day in day out).
No thanks!

Has anyone smarter than myself done the math to determine which base these 60 transfers will go? Just trying to get a sense of the seniority landscape post bidding. My guess is OCL is about to get a lot more senior...

But if you look at their seniority, Only a few can hold any 175 CA seat.

Have you seen the 145 lines lately? In DFW you can’t bid day trips, two day back to backs, or anything over 72 hours. Even the OT is bad, hard to find day trips worth more than 4 hours unless you want to do 4 legs.
The lines for DCE were in the toilet before Covid hit. I’m betting a lot of lifers and senior DCE’s will bid over for the improved QOL of the 175.
A 12 month flow lock isn’t going to scare many into staying on the 145 now that AA is done hiring for a long, long time.
