One of the reasons I liked seeing the union email saying they were trying to get preferential hiring for former Compass pilots. Would still like to see them get preferential seniority over cadets in same class. I know that won't happen though.
10 140’s is hardly a dent. It’s more case of if they cut the 145 fleet by say 50%+.

either way the current climate doesn’t change the contract. If you are displaced you get what your seniority can hold regardless of emails and HI6’s you receive, the company would need to seek relief by way of LOA to change this.

They are parking 15-20 140/145s by the end of next week.
The compass 175s are all going to short term storage.

Not saying your wrong. I'm going on what's currently in the schedule regarding the 140s and what's been said in various circles regarding the 175s. But, I am curious where this info comes from.

Does a proffer to displace incur a 12 month flow lock?

You have to spend 12 months as a CA to flow. That is the current company stance. If you are a CA now and displace to another aircraft then theoretically there should be no additional lock. I say theoretically because the company could decide that there is a lock and it’ll take more than 12 months to fight it.

Its generally moot at the moment since I doubt AA will be hiring in the next 12 months anyway.

On another forum the poster claimed the 175's are going to Republic. Any truth to that??

Yes. It was smoke and mirrors on the 20 e175 from cpz, to fake you out while they prepare for the covid furlough at aag.
