4 left NK for AA in 2019.

In what time frame? There are a couple dozen of formerly furloughed AA/TW and DL pilots at Spirit. Most were hired 05'-11' and did not accept call back. Probably not the answer you were expecting.

My guess is QOL far exceeds at Spirit compared to AA.

Now the question, instead of focusing just on Spirit, do the other ULCC's have similar benefits that could entice people away?

Well I know in 2019, 4 Spirit pilots left for AA..so what is that, 1/6th of 1 percent of our pilot group?

Lets not act like people are trying hard to go in either direction...

Bravo Sir. Excellent point and you just showed all these guys up with 3 sentences. I'm also adding that one would be foolish to leave Envoy for ANY carrier except maybe, maybe Delta.

Merry Christmas folks.

Wow, what a banner year at Envoy. The flow engine is now fully spooled and humming like a Shelby Cobra. On the other end, Envoy is inundated with pipeline candidates just clamoring for their chance to get in the door. It is very competitive and unfortunately there is a long waiting list. 2020 is going to be incredible. It’s truly the best time ever at Envoy. This isn’t your Dad’s “American Eagle.” This is Envoy which far and away blows away anything of that former shell. Where else can you hire on to a major airline as a pipeline candidate? Nowhere is the answer. That’s why the qualifications and interview are so tough.

First, lets put you in the correct context; Kool Aid be flowing....

I have to strongly disagree with the opinions here that are in favor of leaving Envoy for a ULCC. Take Spirit for example since they have been discussed. They have a terrible reputation with customer service, charge exorbitant fees for everything and are delay and cancel prone. Plus their payrates are bottom of the barrel and I wouldn't touch their contract with a 10 foot pole. They seem to be riding high, for now. However, toss in a recession and you could show up to work at a place like that and find yourself furloughed or worse, find the doors locked. To give up a sure seat at American Airlines, for that….is the definition of insanity. AA isn’t going anywhere and is the closest thing to lifetime employment that you can find in the year 2020.

Now this post makes sense after reading the first post. You really have no idea about what you're even saying. I just hope those flight instructors that youre trying to recruit realizes you are selling lies..everyone knows who sits at the bottom of the barrel in dependability and complaints...and it isnt a yellow airplane any longer. Spirit Contract vs AA...haha..sure..you dont fly under either. Recession? Have you seen either company's debt totals? Lets get real and stick to some realism

I’d only leave envoy for AA, UAL or DL. UPS/FX if you could handle it.

I’d leave AA for Envoy if I was furloughed!

What would you come here for? The 11 days off or 40k a year?
