Somebody else already said PSA. Either way, anyone can look at my post history. Not to derail the thread, but I wasn’t at PSA for the “history”. Even if I was though, I actually enjoy the debate anyway so feel free...

It is actually more insidious than that. They can also set aside trips for reserves when doing the monthly bid packet, meaning where you'd otherwise have a min credit line you will now have another 11 day off, 4 AM start reserve schedule.

Not the time for "debating" PSA trolls. Might be better if you spent the time letting your reps know how you feel about the concessionary LOA.

So it’s determined by day? Do they post these days that are unavailable so we know which ones they are? If OT is only available if staffing is critical, do they declare critical coverage?

None of that is in the LOA. Company will use their own methodology which they have chosen not to share to implement their gains if the LOA is approved.

This is a bad deal, simple. Please email your reps. The company could have taken any number of options that would save money and help us, yet they once again chose to go the route of self serving.

Who knows really. Bottom line is they have been trying to remove this provision long before Covid-19. This alone makes their offer suspicious at best and down right predatory at worst. I’m leaning more towards the latter.

To think, for a brief moment I actually thought this LOA would have some give and take. We give on some things to help them, they give on some things to help us. Once again they live up to their reputation.

I'm honestly concerned that the MEC even shopped this to the pilot group. That means they think there's a chance we'll like it lol

Perhaps but more likely they didn’t want to come off as unwilling to even try. This way, hopefully they get enough support to rip this thing up and move forward.

This managment will not help us without us helping ourselves first. To think they have good intentions or can be trusted is a fools game.

Approving an LOA without posting it is just as bad as refusing one without posting it.

I agree. Posting it lets the membership see what’s being talked about takes the mystery out of the process, even if we don’t like what we see.
