I suppose so. This thing really contextualizes past LOAs they've secretly agreed to without pilot input. I can see why they got really excited when the company offered anything whatsoever.

They didn’t offer us anything to be excited about. It was a direct concession with nothing in return. Am I misunderstanding what you are trying to say?

Yes, in every respect.

1. I am reflecting on past LOAs (such as pay raise) in this post.
2. I am saying there was nothing to be excited about, but they got excited anyway because something was offered at all.

Based on my usually credible sources, the consensus inside the MEC is "this is total horse manure" Excitement level is pretty much 0.

They’ve been around A LOT longer than half of the pilots on property been alive, they know exactly what they’re doing and what they’ll get out of it. They wouldn’t be pushing so hard for it if it wasn't the case.
