I used to do it all the time as well. Now they have been denying it for people who live in their domicile.
If you commute to your base, you can use your commuter hotels if you pick up OT from other bases too. If you are not a commuter, they have been denying those hotels lately. The LOA unfortunately defines a commuter as someone who lives more than 50 miles from their domicile, and there's nothing (unless its CC) that allows you to use commuter hotels if you are not a commuter.
So, just to clarify - you can still use commuter hotels, if you are a commuter, for out of base pickups. But if you are not a commuter, you can't.

RF 100 Full for OT
Newbie here...
I am a line-holder, what do I input for the rest START and STOP time for sending RF 100 Full requests via Decs during the 48hr window?? Clearly I’ve relied too much on QT.
I’m trying to pick up OT during the 48 RF window and QT usually calculated this for me. Further, what is this 30 hour rest time I keep hearing about and where in the contract can I find it? I’ve heard i need 30 hours rest before and after an OT trip. Is this true? If so where can i find the contract reference? I browsed through chapter 11 but can’t seem to find it! Thanks guys! : )

Basically you look at the sign in time and block in/sign out time (+ 15 minutes) of your desired OT sequence. Go back 168 hrs (7 days) from the sign in time. If you can show a 30 hr block of time off within that 168 hrs, that’s what you input on the front end. And then do the same for the block in time of the sequence. If you can find a 30 hr block in the next 168 hrs, use that. It takes a little math but it’s not that hard.

It's not contractual, you need to show compliance with 117.25(b) after the pickup.

Please sign our petition to bring QuickTrade back:
https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/...uicktrade-back
On April 02 Envoy requested that AA IT block the QuickTrade app from connecting to DECS. Via an HI6, they cited the COVID19 schedule disruptions as the cause for the blockage and described the action as temporary. We understand that the situation is unprecedented and that the company must take actions to ensure survival for everyone's sake. However, as large scale schedule changes end and employees are once again called back to work, we ask that access to the QuickTrade app be restored.
We've made requests for access and offered to make changes to the program if the company would want, however we have been met with silence. This petition demonstrates that the hard working pilots and flight attendants at Envoy and AA rely on QuickTrade to make their lives better.
Thank you for your support
