We get it, you think the NYT's skewed data is correct but Fox's is incorrect.

I am aware, that is also where I came from. Not afraid to head back, if the cost/benefit ratio becomes out of wack.

This is incorrect. Deaths are not decreasing. We haven't developed a vaccine nor are we suddenly much much better at treatment. Let me introduce you to Simpson's paradox. The problem is with the way the data has been grouped together and incorrectly weighted. If you throw in New York and other areas that have already seen their outbreak and are currently in decline, it will skew the data.
Deaths lag infections, this is a fact. There are new hotspots in Florida, Texas, California and others. You need to take a look at the breakdown per county, or at the very least per state to get a better idea of what is going on. You'll see that cases are dramatically increasing in these areas, and in a few weeks deaths will be as well.
This is a serious illness, and it's time to stop denying it. The sooner people do what is necessary (wearing masks, social distancing, quarantine.) the sooner this will be over and we can return to normal life. It's time to take this seriously and stop denying it for dumbass political reasons.

Death rates. Lagging info but trending higher. "40 per day" breached numerous times in June and into July.
The public are self-regulating now. All or most credibility by "leaders" has been lost.
Karen is making her own decisions for Karen now. It does not matter what us grumpy Pilots think about micron levels, mask effectiveness, or LCC business model. It is all about Karen, both off-duty and at work (business travel).
my 2 cents

The truth of the matter is, not everyone can live on Cheetos, bologna and Malt liquor (Mickeys or Old English 800) for breakfast, lunch or dinner in someone’s basement. A love life only of romancing your right hand and or it being your hot date cuz you are too poor to have one.
People have mortgages, families to feed and the poverty wages of working for regional feed is rubbish and won’t cover it.
I sympathize with them.
