That is my understanding as well... no WARN by 31Jan, no 01Apr furlough. My question is more surrounding accounting for the 100 or so pilot difference between recalls and FO vacancies (I don’t have any knowledge of how many accepted recall). Maybe it doesn’t have any significance at all. Just curious. But as you said, we should know in the next week or so good or bad.

Weren’t there a bunch of unfilled DFW 175 FO slots on the last bid? Some of the furloughs have already been slotted for training (in March...I think), so they must already have a “next status”. I don’t know if that would account for all of the “missing” vacancies, but it could account for some of them. On the other hand, this is pure speculation. I have no inside information to back it up. |

You can look at a seniority list that had MIA on it and get a pretty good idea. Start with the last guy awarded MIA and count down the people that didn’t get it in each seat. Probably be some difference, but pretty close.
