Also since the company never gives info out... someone (not a crew member, but a hotel guest in a room right next door to an Envoy crew member) was shot and killed in the hotel in Montgomery AL. All we get is an HI6 about how we are moving hotels because of a security issue.

why because just the flight attendants room butted up against the room where it happened? So it doesn’t matter to the rest of the crew?
why do we get HI6’s about someone who was unfortunate enough to work here for 30 years flying their last flight, and to come have cake and cookies. But when something actually serious happens... crickets

It's a nice hotel. So nice that everyone forgot that it's actually not a very good 'crew' hotel. No room microwave, no free breakfast, van scheduling issues, doors that somehow could not be closed without a loud slam noise heard by everyone on the floor... but all I ever heard was how nice the hotel is.

Normally high prices help to keep weirdos out of our nicer hotels; however, lately hotels have been doing deep discounts to try to fill rooms, and stimmy bux are allowing some people to "wild out." Many of them are choosing to do it in hotels. Expect an increase in this kind of thing for awhile. Little Rock (another pretty nice hotel) looks like a warzone rn.

Personally I could care less about location. I want a good gym in the hotel, microwave, fridge in my room and a van that is on time. I however totally understand that I am just one person and my tastes and views don’t align with everyones. Some people would rather have a 30 min van ride to a better location.
Overall though I feel like the general quality of our hotels has improved.
