For an ex-military guy without an ATP, looking to get back in the cockpit via Envoy using their ATP program, are there any contracts, seat locks or the like after training completed (repay bonuses etc)? Haven’t seen anything on commitments.

Thank you very much. I was told that there are FO slots available for ORD every class drop - just not nearly as many as DFW/MIA. I was told to expect a forced upgrade within the first bidding cycle.
Also, just talked to a couple of recruiters. They're actually starting me at 5 year CA pay of because I've completed 4 years at my regional and I'm in my 5th year. I'm also looking at around 62k in bonuses year 1 due to being over 950 hours in the 121 world. Absolutely nuts. This is going to be game changing for the entire industry. And to the dude above that thought I might've had my application already on file? I didn't. Just called a recruiter, told him my experience, applied, and had a CJO in my inbox about 16hrs later. The shortage is real. Can't wait to start! They also haven't force upgraded anyone in years. And if they do, you will be the bottom 145 CA for a long time. Don't expect an upgrade to 175 like that. |

As far a EQUIPMENT lock, IF Envoy starts hiring into the 145 again, as an FO you are locked unless you get displaced out of the plane or upgrade. Not locked to a base. |

The shortage is real. Can't wait to start! With pay and bonuses what they are, many FOs will chose to wait to upgrade for QOL. This is likely going to start causing forced upgrades to the junior qualified FOs. There are just too many unknowns to know if that will be in the 145 or not, but my money says this has breathed a little bit of life support into it and will only prolong the agony of those in the wrong spot on the seniority list. |

Anyplace you go and use their ATP program will have a contract and require a repayment if you leave right away. Most places one year at least. They tend to leave out the less glorious details on the websites.

Man, this is exciting. Thanks Isom. Maybe I'll finally stop getting juniormanned twice a month like clockwork.
