My apologies. I meant Southwest. Thanks for the catch.

I should have mentioned Virgin America as well, even if they don't like us former helo pukes. I understand they are military friendly.
The same place anybody should. Closets to home first, easiest commute second, commutable third, relocate last.

With his creds he just needs to get current, after that he'll go legacy before he finishes probation is my guess.

There are plenty with east coast bases. They're all hiring. Pick something close to home. It's a pilot's market. No need to chase a regional job across country.

Seriously folks, just put him on ignore. It gets a lot better.

He's like that sci-fi trope where blasting the enemy creature gives it more power. Just stop feeding it, it'll wither away and die.

He provides no real info, so you can't disprove him like he asks. You can't disprove made up BS, he just makes more up. You just wind up chasing your tail.

Stop Feeding the Damn Troll.
@%$*&.......accidentally deleted long post proving you wrong. Anyhow;

My points can be proven on Eaglelounge right now for anyone who wants to see the "ugly" part of the good, bad and ugly (see the thread about IBT National....). Apparently the hiring numbers aren't anywhere where they need to be and this whole house of cards can only avoid collapse if they are. Pilots are questioning the claims made by management and the union regarding flow and hiring.

It's not just me saying it, it's present ENVOY pilots.

Mason is dancing as fast as he can here with a water bucket on his head, so stay tuned !

Hiring numbers since the 5.5 was announced were 33 last month (above average) and 12 this month (below average). That's batting .500. Of course, we all know that it is just two months worth of data and a limited sample size, which doesn't prove anyone's point. Regardless of speculation, the numbers will tell the story each month as they either meet or don't meet Envoy's need.

Yes, pilots are questioning Union and management claims. This is nothing new. We should ALWAYS question claims that seem too good to be true.

Holy hell, you hit nail on the head there! Genius. If an airline cannot staff itself, it will not succeed. Envoy is no different. If we cannot staff ourselves, the plan that management has put forth will not work. No one is saying otherwise.

Some may over estimate the ability to hire but hey, just like you (and this is the part you REALLY have to focus on...seriously. Pause for a second or two. Get ready for your mind. to. be. blown) have their own opinions that not all agree with.

So you say your say, I say mine, others say theirs.

Just remember eaglefly,

We believe you! Because as you say, you are all we have.

We believe you!

There's no need for a 3000+ hour F-16 instructor pilot to chase a regional job anywhere. The "currency issue" is easy to explain with the way the military works. He executed orders, he didn't choose to stop flying.

Mason says only 24 were hired in August. If they are frontloading, then they'd need 24/month from here on out to get another 400 by end of 2016. Again, that assumes relatively few leave Envoy for anywhere other then AA via flow and if that doesn't hold, well........then the house of cards stability becomes that much more perilous.

I think it's critical for all to understand AAG's plans for Envoy and Envoy managements desires for Envoy can be and are very likely two different things. AAG appears not interested in making any investment in Envoy and Envoy management appears desperate to maximize Envoy's chances of not being fragmented in some form of consolidation in the future for they may be kicked to the curb much like many pre-merger LAA execs were or at least if so, to have a better footing with which to argue their viability and competance to be retained.

What you're seeing now might simply be a dance between two partners dancing to different music.

They aren't ? Why is Mason here then saying you've turned the corner and it's a good time to be an Envoy pilot ? Why is Mason saying just today that "their numbers work" and implying they are in fact working, when clearly they are not ? Why are pilots representing one thing here and another on EL and why are pilots like me attacked here for saying what others say there who are not attacked ?

It has nothing to do with present employment and everything to do with being valid or invalid.

Again, I have no issue with anyone saying what they choose, but obviously some there can't say the opposite with repeated cries of censorship or draggiing out the most exhausted cliche in internet forum history of "don't feed the troll" and then misapplying it to those they simply disagree with. I have no recollection of any post of mine claiming I was "all you have", so the last portion of your post was lost in translation. All you can do is shoot the messenger because you can't refute his message. Of course, those messengers with the same messages are not shot over on EL, are they ?

Of course not. If it wasn't for me, you'd have no one to blame.

Exactly correct you are. Which explains all the LCC and legacies lining up to get him current. Oh wait.......

They never said they explored those options. They may have assumed they just needed to start at a regional. JB flat out said a break in flying for military isn't a big deal. Try giving people advice and help even if it won't serve you or your future.
