In the latest news release, Kirby said this: "'And we also want that Envoy to be a place, regardless of the latest contract, that pilots can go and ultimately transition to the mainline here at American,' he said."
I'm not trying to connect dots that aren't there or be overly optimistic. However, this and his "somewhere-somehow-someday" comment about negotiations at the unnamed other airline(s) makes it seem like we're far from being out of the larger plan (if there is one at this time). They wouldn't be setting up pipeline programs with flight schools (add Tulsa Community College to the mix this week) if they don't have an ultimate goal for us.
Just my two cents.

According to Mason, they will unleash the beast by May 12.

Mason talk to us!
Is that why they probably wanted to get rid of the Turbo Prop rates in our last TA?
