at AA, they have not accrued any vacation for the following fiscal year.
: All unused and accrued vacation time, including your carryover, will be paid from the vacation
portion of your PTO, provided your PTO bank has sufficient hours.
Q: What happens to my short term sick time?
A: Your short term sick PTO transfers with you to American.
I found it on the flow through Q&A page. That's what I was referencing.

I have never been one of those "don't come here" types but as of last week the future of envoy I'd very uncertain. Management has no intentions on refleeting us and is apt to let our aircraft retire over the next few years. Unless something changes things will become more stagnant than they already are. Expect to spend at least 2 years on reserve and no upgrade for at least 7. That being said I imagine you will hear something from the recruiting department soon.

I've applied to Compass as well, however with no 4 year degree, I'm not holding my breath. I suppose I am more optimistic than most that things at Envoy will get better. I do not think a shutdown is in the works, and statistically, people will start flowing in greater numbers. I really think mgmt is using fear the most right now b/c that's all they have. I also believe the regional model as we know it won't be around for much longer. I'm actually pretty optimistic about the future.
