I was under the impression that that didn't apply to new equipment coming onto property?

Question1. Will current FOs be able to bid the 175 or will it be new hires only. Example as when the nextgen CRJs came on property and were placed in NY the EMB FOs could not bid it.

Answer: According to 15.G.2.a of our CBA, a turbo-jet FO may not bid to different turbo-jet equipment.

Thank you. I stand corrected.

That's wrong, a New equipment can be bid by FOs on the first bid is my understanding.

Good Luck.

Talking to yourself again, eh ?

Perhaps you're playing forum tag with your clueless F/O while at the gate in DFW ?

Naahhh.........you're talking to yourself.

Good Luck. ;)

Only 40 are on the way right ?

That's perhaps 200 F/O's and I'm sure those bids will go senior, possibly with the exception of the junior RSV's. In that case, you'd be on reserve forever and that will get old VERY fast, especially if you commute. It would seem anyone wanting to go to Envoy should anticipate a banged up old E-145, but you'll get to fly with a few "real men" captains there in DFW, where men are men and the sheep are nervous.

Read the contract guys.

J. INTRODUCTION OF NEW EQUIPMENT 1. When new equipment is introduced at a domicile, any pilot may bid for and be awarded a vacancy created in the new equipment in order of system seniority, in accordance with his permanent bid file.

But again, if you're junior or even worse you have yet to arrive, plan on a terrible lifestyle for the opportunity to fly a shiny new jet for peanuts.

I believe it will go Jr on the FO side. Most of the 2008 and 2010 hires don't want to be 1 yr seat lock if the upgrade is approaching in the next 2 years.

mr25cents 12-23-2014 08:28 AM

it passed, MEC Newsblast

The seat lock isn't in effect if someone is involuntarily displaced into the equipment. (Not arguing your point, just pointing out that there ways it might not go so junior)

91.57% elegible voters voted
75% yes
25% no

Dunkin 12-23-2014 08:41 AM

Wow they voted in two concessionary contracts in less than two years.

What, were you hoping to get some more of our aircraft? Sorry.

You now have the worst contract of any AAG wholly owned, enjoy that PBS with all of "your" new aircraft.

Well, that's thanks to your PSA which started all this mess.

PBS is to be voted after the 1st option gets here. Most likely in 2 years...

Be carefull your SAP is next... ;)

tunes 12-23-2014 09:08 AM

Congrats scabs!

newcfii 12-23-2014 09:52 AM

Please! Thanks to PSA? You could have stood strong and voted no as you all sat behind your computers thumping your chests! ! That was your goal right? Stop the whip saw? So do not blame this on PSA my friend! Look in the mirror!

tunes 12-23-2014 10:04 AM

People voting to keep their jobs is perfectly fine....just annoying that when other places do it they get called scabs or modern day scabs. I think that's what makes this so much worse is all the **** talking that was done about other pilot groups then you go and do the exact same thing

They're not scabs but it is terribly disappointing. In the end it appears pilots really are small minded people. I hope the flow works out for all of you because your actions and the actions of many of our other peers have ensured the regionals will be an unworthy place for another several years to a decade despite a growing shortage of pilots. It really is unbelievable.

Oh I know they aren't... But its a misused term they threw out to PDT and PSA pilots so I figure its only fitting

Pattern bargaining, how does it work?

It only works in reverse for pilots.
