This TA is decidedly worse than what we rejected in March, yet it would seem this has the support of both the MEC and the pilot group. *** happened? $12,500 buys a lot of suckers.
Why is different? Because we don't have a minimum 170 fleet? Remember that they said they would park airplanes to keep people Flowing anyway. |

RJ you are nothing more than a sick coward. Stand for what's right. Vote NO. Concession stand is closed. Keep the solidarity. Passing this TA will make envoy no better than PSA. Vote NO. You are worth more than than the slap in the face this TA is. What a joke.
Vote NO eny, Keep the solidarity, Concession stand is closed. Just give everything to the Compass, Mesa, TSA. eny pilots Proudly "defending the profession in exchange for nothing" since 2014..... Good Luck. |
Do you have "Good Luck." as your auto-signature for your personal email as well? Might give away your identity...

This contract should still be a no go. Other than the increased bonus (bribe with our own money from our what we were owed anyway) and improved flow (we all know how well flow works), there is really no big improvement. But unfortunately the price seems right for most people...

My question in regard to all of this: If the TA is such an atrocity, why doesn't ALPA have your or any other regional's back? The email below reads like they want it to go through (which I suppose is correct if your MEC supports it). It's crazy that we all argue about contracts, votes, etc. under a system that doesn't work at all at the regional level. If anything, it's a tool for management. Direct your outrage and efforts at changing the system, not at your fellow pilots.
Anyway, that's my Tapatalk, phone typed half thought. Here's the email: Envoy MEC officers, status reps, negotiators, Pilot-to-Pilot volunteers, and ALPA staff actively engaged pilots this week during base visits to LGA, ORD, MIA, DFW, and the Training Center, where they discussed the recently reached tentative agreement (TA). Two teams crisscrossed the eastern half of the United States, conducting formal PowerPoint presentations and extensive Q&A sessions in crew rooms where pilots interacted with their elected leadership and volunteers to discuss the TA and the impact it would have on their jobs and careers at Envoy. "To say this has been an arduous process is an understatement," said ENY MEC Chairman Sam Pool. "All pilots in our group will be affected by some part of this agreement. It has been one year since this process began, and to this end, our negotiators, officers and the entire ALPA leadership have ensured that they have achieved as much as possible in return for the re-fleeting of our airline." The final road show is Friday at the Envoy Training Center in Dallas. The MEC also conducted several All-Pilot Conference Calls, established a designated email specifically for TA-related questions, and created an FAQ module on the MEC website. Balloting opened December 16 and closes Tuesday, December 23. |
