I'd say us and all others that walked the line deserve a small star, a recognition, on top of the regular ALPA pin. Ask the second question to the regional pilots. Spirit pilots did their part.

A320Flyer - is your avatar an Israeli AF squadron patch? Were you IDF before Spirit?

Are you saying there are different pay scales for flows coming to AA then the what we have in place?

one small factor is that the Feds LET you strike. They didn't let Pinnacle and a few others who would have jumped at the chance to strike.

I won't disagree with you because I have never been in your position, but I would think you had a bit more leverage when you walked. To hold your accomplishment over Eagle's head is a little wrong. Did the Spirit MEC extend anything to Eagle's? Again, I may not be as versed in history as you, but Eagle didn't have near as much leverage. I don't think AAG was too concerned with the vote outcome as your managers were to striking a deal.

I can tell you what to do with that magic Alpa pin.....

Alpa is the reason why eny pilots voted the way they did.

Good Luck.

Spirit pilots did their part because they were allowed to do their part. Plenty of other airlines would have done their part if they were allowed to.
When was the last time a regional airline was released to strike? Comair I believe and that was quite a while ago.

You guys drew the line and said no. PSA stabbed you in the back. TSA salivated over Eagle flying. At some point you gotta say enough and draw your own line when others have backstabbed you.

Sometimes, you have got to know when to stop digging the hole. Envoy pilots saw what was happening with everyone chasing the quick upgrade while stepping on their backs. Just take a stroll through the threads for Compass and PSA and you will get a feel for the so called regional unity. The Envoy pilots have nothing to be ashamed of. Envoy pilots did the right thing.

Here's the term sheet. In it, you'll find the pay rates in the back.

This is not a time to celebrate for Envoy pilots. My head hangs low in shame--feel free to deny me your jumpseat. The worst of it was at the ENY HDQ today where everyone was celebrating with cake ( decorated with an E175) and already an American Eagle E175 airplane model. To me, it was such a punch in the face when other employees came to the pilots to congratulate us and give us hugs and "thank yous". I just felt like I had came from a funeral. Legacy Eagle is dead. The new Envoy is here.

If I'm reading this TA right, what's stoping AAG from making a separate order for more E-Jets and giving them to another regional carrier. The options only apply to the current agreement from 2013 between AAG and Embraer...I see many loopholes here
