Envoy/Eagle to get 40 E-175's w/90 options

Envoy's (former American Eagle) TA vote passed today securing them 40 firm E-175's w/90 options (total of 130 E-175's). Delivery starts Nov 2015 and plan on first 40 175's on property by Jan 2017.
Including in the TA was flow agreement to AA of 30 pilots from Envoy to AA(for 824) then 25 flows to AA per month.

PC LOADLETTER 12-23-2014 09:00 AM

Except for guys hired after 2011 and new hires. Way to have a D scale. Or is that an E scale

billyho 12-23-2014 09:01 AM

Did they also secure the worst contract of the other two Wholly Owns?

highflyer0685 12-23-2014 09:04 AM

Way to hold the line a**holes. Now PSA and Envoy fall into the same di*khe*d category.

But it's ok.. Their hands were tied they had to this or they would be shut down right?

The glass slipper has many owners apparently

weekendflyer 12-23-2014 09:06 AM

Scabs! All that crap you gave psa, look at you now...

Except that PSA has a far better contract and is the new industry leader.

embraer 12-23-2014 09:06 AM

Flow to AA is for everyone including new hires.

tunes 12-23-2014 09:07 AM

Congrats scabs....congratulations on bringing down the industry

ZapBrannigan 12-23-2014 09:09 AM

Scabs? Don't use a word that you clearly don't understand.

Oh got it....its okay for envoy to throw it out falsely but when its thrown back at them for the exact same context they use it its suddenly not okay....got it

Captain Tony 12-23-2014 09:11 AM

Kind of sad that the Lee Moak 12/4 cap has now become industry standard. Even sadder that all AAG had to do was bribe the senior pilots with cash, flow, big shiny airplanes, and immunity from the caps to get them to throw the junior under the bus.

Now that's "unity" right there!

Someone please go put the Stop The Whipsaw page out of its misery now.

tom11011 12-23-2014 09:12 AM

I forget, how does the apology to Republic pilots work? Does the Envoy MEC draft the letter or is a poster signed by all the Envoy pilots like a Christmas card?

Absolutely pathetic... Great "solidarity" Envoy!

Well, i guess it is solidarity when 75% voted to look out for themselves!

tunes 12-23-2014 09:16 AM

I'm interested to see the spin on how this isnt concessionary and that its somehow mythically better than the PSA contract they have been talking down so much.....

25% for new hires compared to 50% for the 824

If they really wanted this TA to pass they would offer:
~ 30k bonus like Endeavor
~ 150 minimum fleet guarantee

AAG will have to spend millions to replace us and it's going to cost them. We will all have jobs and go work for AAG's biggest competitors. AAG might have money, but not enough pilots. If they were smart they would offer us 30k and 150 minimum fleet and start to work on that trust relationship between pilots and management. That's what will make them succeed.

Unless a better offer this TA will fail. ~ Vote no.

You like Apples???

And I guess since the Mainline Pilots were threatening to not allow Piedmont Pilots to Jumpseat after our yes vote now Envoy is in the same boat as us? Right?? hahahahahahah

35Right 12-23-2014 09:31 AM

I think most of you are upset because you're no longer going to be benefiting from our sword-falling. Every time we voted no, someone else got more airplanes.

Really?? You're gonna use that? Hell that's what the other 2 Wo's said. hahahahaha So you voted "yes" to an even worse offer then the first? Maybe the union should've just said, "give us our first offer or nothing." But you didn't even do that.

embraer 12-23-2014 09:34 AM

To all the haters who work for other companies:

Sorry you won't be getting anymore of our flying. Envoy is back and you will no longer profit from our loss.

Dude it's not your flying as it's not PDT or PSA's. It's AAG's flying.

And away goes the race to the bottom. Typical pilot attitude 'I got mine, FU". And we wonder why we don't have a real union...

Anybody know that trade unions do when a local attempts to undercut everyone else to steal their jobs?

newcfii 12-23-2014 09:37 AM

Does this mean I can ride your jumpsuit again? LMAO

seattlepilot 12-23-2014 09:39 AM

Pilots are stupid.. That's for sure.. Dangle some airplanes in front of them and they will sign the dotted line.. You lowered bar, in a day and age of record profits... Dumb dumb dumb.

So if the flow is real.. Everyone on property will be gone in about 6.5 years with just going to American. Any chance on this actually occurring!? Thanks

You sure about that statement? Pretty sure you don't own any of "your" flying

Rsv4lyfe 12-23-2014 09:41 AM

All that hate and vitriol you people spewed towards PSA. Look at you all now, credibility lost.

Stringfellow 12-23-2014 09:42 AM

We owe every PSA guy an apology. Furthermore, our MEC should be ashamed and stop using this "in unity" bull because our UNION just threw future alpa pilots under the bus. At least the previous yes voters maintained their course of illogic, but the rest who voted no before and then turned on a deal that wasn't really any different except for a small bribe, are guilty of pure hypocrisy. ALPA is a sad joke that asks us to help deny NAI out of one face, and then out of the other face strong-arms and applauds their own union members into not only further concessions, but also the C scale under which future union pilots will have to dwell. So, enjoy bribes while they last, but as soon as the company starts violating this TA like the bankruptcy contract, please refrain from whining any further. I hope the rest of us go fly for NAI just to give you "in unity" types a taste of your own medicine. Please go choke on what little is left of your humility as men, aviators, and so-called union brothers. SHAME

If only the others on the board here had that sane mentality....I applaud you and I seriously mean it

You idiots calling each other scabs should learn what scab means. Neither PSA or Eagle are scabs.

Idiots now.... But before the vote the "modern day scab" was an acceptable term to envoy to describe PSA and PDT

I don't work for envoy and I wouldn't use the word scab to describe any pilot group that didn't do any job action worthy of being called a scab... Pot meet ur head..

Username is fitting.... Check sarcasm detector

chrisreedrules 12-23-2014 09:49 AM

A scab is a person who crosses the picket line during a strike, betraying his/her Union brethren. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't know why the term gets thrown around so loosely on this board.
