The flow maximum now is 25 each month. They also stop the flow several times this year for flow of less than 250. Endeavor paying almost twice the rate for captains now. Something about to break big time.
I've said it before. The recruiters at that time specifically were hard selling a 5 to 6 year flow that was nowhere near the realm of possibility with the rate at which Envoy has flowed. It has proven correct. Those looking at Envoy should consider this when listening to recruiting sales pitches. Maybe the recruiters there don't outright lie, but stretching and elongating bits of truth and full on embellishment are sales techniques that are frequently used.

Those recruiters don't even answer the damn phone, so them lying doesn't surprise me a bit.

I think it’s safe to say no one is coming here for the flow anymore since it’s obvious it won’t be 5 to 6 years if you just do a little research. The 5 to 6 could be a possibility for guys hired in 2016.

Yes, I would agree. According to ALPA my flow is FEB 2023. I do not know if that is based on historical averages or bare minimum flows per month but I am keeping my options open.

It's based on bare minimum flow.

What's the story with unprotected? I believe it's 25% per hiring class right? Also, being unprotected, can't the company just say, "meh you've had 1 late show so we're not gonna let you go".

I’m not certain, but I think you have to be on a step letter to not flow.

The group of pilots hired after the protected pilots and that were on the list prior to the TA being signed drop from 50% to %35 of AA monthly classes with the meter dropping from 25 to 15 pilots a month. Everyone hired after that through present day, the formula equates to the LESSOR of %25 of all AA new hire training slots FOR THE YEAR [B]or[B] five new hire training slots, increased by one training slot for every 125 pilots above a base number of 480, multiplied by the number of calendar months per year. So...%25 or less for the whole year.

And yes, after the PP group the company can withhold you from flowing if you have any active disciplinary letters in your file.

A couple of months ago I was chatting with an Envoy Protected Pilot. He was scheduled to flow in Dec/Jan and was 12 years. There were a number of Protected Pilots ahead of him that have already flowed. He estimates in about 2 years they will have worked through the Protected Pilots list. YMMV.
