BTW they have 1 and they still do not have a program for the 145. PDT has 1 month left to get something approved and get the plane flying according to some FAA guys I have had in the jumpseat over the last few weeks.

You guys need to stop feeding this guy. He's the worlds biggest troll and are making you guys look like idiots. It was established long ago that he doesn't even work at ENY and now he wants to move from ENY to PDT? Ignore him.

I really didn't start out being a hater. I posted some comments venting frustration about the company and was immediately jumped on by the pack of hyenas here who for whatever reason have determined it to be their duty to suit up and defend the company and management to their last breath.

I don't find this sentiment on the line. Generally everyone has some type of disdain for the company and I've NEVER heard anybody defend the company online. I came to the realization that you guys are just a bunch of drones blindly following the commands of Envoy management and are unable to think for yourselves.

If my mind is so tiny for looking at other options to get out of this predicament, what does it say about you guys marching in lockstep with your Envoy handler? All while you sit back and let Envoy management do the "heavy lifting," read flow, to advance your careers? I'm afraid that you will be sorely disappointed unless you are in the 824 remaining.

For the non Envoy types on this thread, let me point out that the sentiment spewed on here by these few hardcore pro company guys IS NOT shared on the line. In fact, my experience has been just the opposite.

There are also two other boards related to Envoy that you may be familiar with. I read ZERO and I mean ZERO positive comments on the company in those venues.

Why Not? He hasn't started and is already leaving, so some of us are curious what his reasoning is for such a short stint at Legacy Eagle. What justification he has for somewhere else.

I've finally had enough. Going to PHL job fair for PDT this month. They have the same flow deal over there but the catch is, they have only 450 or so pilots. So a much better chance at actually getting out of there to AA than at Envoy. Let's see, the bottom of 450 pilots or the bottom third of 2000 pilots. It's easy math for me.

I can be treated like dog **** at PDT just like Envoy and at least have a reasonable chance of getting to AA while I apply everywhere else.
As long as you understand you are rolling the dice should PDT be absorbed by another AAG WO. If PSA should absorb them, it might indeed benefit you and move you on a faster track to flow, but probably not by much. If it should be Envoy, you'd just end up back where you are only further back in any AA flow conga line (and from the sounds of it, you'd probably blow your brains out before that). If the WO's remain separate and PDT merges with another non WO, it may or may not result in a longer AA conga line as those non WO pilots would likely end up going before you as a result of an SLI. It depends on how many pilots that carrier has. The only significantly better scenario is PDT grows on its own while Envoy contracts. I would consider any present Envoy pilot jumping ship to PDT to be very risky.

Now a prospective new-hire to the WO American Eagle system ?

Well, in that case, I think they have more to gain shooting for PDT over Envoy then to risk, all things considered. I'd caution though against letting emotion guide your decisions, but if PDT is somewhere you want to go for specific reasons like domicile and you have minimal commitment to Envoy, then it might provide you more happiness.

He was never going to ENY... just using that story to bash it. His last story was that he was a 2013 hire...

Neither is your anger. In my time here I've only flown with a few people that have the level of vitriol you display. I regularly fly with people that have had multiple bases closed out from under them, have a sucky commute and/or are still facing reserve. Every single one of them has a better attitude than you. The ones that couldn't/wouldn't put up with it?

As with my previous comment, they rarely reach the extremes the very few here do. In fact, the smaller boards actually have participants that use the "ignore" function, and also have mods that issue temp bans repeatedly to the worst offenders. The trolls eventually leave, but the allure of that hole under the bridge they live in is so strong they always come back under a new name. Weeks. Months. They always return. Even when they don't work here anymore.

Yet you still defend the company.

My point is that anytime I see a poster note something negative about Envoy, the defenders jump up and man the battle stations determined to defend Envoy at all costs. That's how it started with me. I was ridiculed for making such stupid comments and told to "just quit" if I feel that way. So I stepped it up in response. The defenders just got louder attempting to smother any sort of dissension. My goal now is to let everyone who is considering Envoy know it blows here.

The defenders here, yourself included, must either be an intern(s) doing as they are told, management, or just totally drunk on the flow juice. One thing is for sure, you aren't just a regular line pilot. No way in the world would a regular line pilot say anything good about the company, much less defend them.

Anyone claiming to leave ENY for PDT in the hopes of a faster flow should have their head examined. The flow rate will be essentially the same at either place, because AA is taking equivalent percentages from each. And that's IF and WHEN PDT is able to start staffing the 145's that ENY currently cannot give them.
