Why do I care? Because that 16 year contract that everyone hated so much actually protected us from the worst effects of everything since 9/11. Economic downturns, bankruptcies, etc. of surrounding regionals and major airlines had minimal effect on us including our furloughs. The company wasn't great about our contract, but they weren't awful. I don't care about the post-bankruptcy company that has expended every effort to deliberately make our lives miserable, but I do care about the people I work with, they make this job a good job. Well, except for the people like you that have a toxic effect on your environment. Unlike you I want this job to be better, and if that means providing practical and balanced information to potential new hires like so many others on this board do I will continue to do so. They're all adults and capable of deciding if the good outweighs the bad, but I'm not going to sit around spewing hatred for this company and shoot myself in the foot out of a sense of, what...? Vengeance? Just like your pal you really are just throwing your friends here under the bus. It's not like ENY cares one bit what you think it what you've done. But hey, burn both engines to the gate, don't talk to your ground crew until they use the correct verbiage, don't do the walk around for your FO when he's got a tight connection, don't call for the gate agent when they're not there to help your tight connecting passengers. You're really sticking it to the man.
It's an OK company to work for. Not great, not awful, just OK. And maybe, just maybe if AAG puts their money where their mouth is, it'll be a nice ride for folks hired in the next couple years.

That's truly unfortunate.

Funny thing is, I could go to PDT and be in the left seat in under a year and very likely, flow to AA before you. How would you like that?
If there's anyone here that's narcissitic, it's you cowboy. You're like that big chump in high school who is just on the verge of being fat but thinks you are really big and ripped. You roll your tight T-shirt sleeves up to show off the guns, which in your case are really just chunks of fat. Then you threaten anyone who talks to your girlfriend. In your case, the girlfriend is Envoy and everybody knows you are a toothless tiger.
Why are you a toothless tiger? BECAUSE THE FLOW AIN'T GONNA HOLD UP CHUMP!

Good, go as fast as you can. Go! Go! Go! I do find it funny that you are so critical of envoy's flow but your first regional of choice is to go to one that has a flow to the same company. Good Luck to you. Enjoy your time over there. I hope you find the happiness you are looking for.

I plan on it. You are in deep denial. Give a damn about my job? I come in and do what's required. Nothing more and nothing less. If Envoy gave a rip about the employees, you would likely have people trying to save gas and the rampers would be ready and waiting to bring you in.
The question is. Why do you give such a damn about Envoy? They would totally steamroll you if the opportunity presented itself.
You guys have to quit taking up for this company. Yes, they are flowing some now. I believe (my opinion) is that this farce of a flow will slow and possibly totally stop after the 824. If you are gambling your whole career on this magical flow, then let me sell you some oceanfront property I have in Arizona.
Enjoy the view from whatever seat you are in on the 145/CRJ/175. If you are outside the 824, you will likely be warming it for years to come.

PDT is not for me, going to get screwed out of flow there too. I will not be happy at any airline and thus must stay as a flight instructor forever.

More flying given to SkyWest out of LA. They will be using 7-10 CRJ-700's for LAX flying. With half of our pilot group on reserve, AAG can't see fit to move this flying back to Envoy. CRJ's used to do this as fly through.
This place sucks. Don't let anyone on here tell you otherwise. I wouldn't recommend Envoy to my worst enemy.
Some may stay here and accept the daily punishment that management doles out in hopes of eventually obtaining the brass ring and flowing right out of here.
Let me say to all you current Envoyers, get your current seniority number and subtract about 400. That's where you will be and stagnate for quite some time after the last half of the 824 flow. Then it will be daily punishment and being treated like dog **** in perpetuity.
I've finally had enough. Going to PHL job fair for PDT this month. They have the same flow deal over there but the catch is, they have only 450 or so pilots. So a much better chance at actually getting out of there to AA than at Envoy. Let's see, the bottom of 450 pilots or the bottom third of 2000 pilots. It's easy math for me.
I can be treated like dog **** at PDT just like Envoy and at least have a reasonable chance of getting to AA while I apply everywhere else.

You don't think there is issues working over there and getting treated by scheduling? Have fun waiting 3+ months for a sim in New Hire training and making crap money while you sit at home deciding what to do with your thumb.

And in your tiny mind you think that PDT with a smaller pilot group which is understaffed, have a smaller flow number every month, and trying to get a new aircraft online (unsuccessfully at this point) is a better option? How do you see them not getting the flow cut off either and grinding to an abrupt stop?

Why are you such an Envoy defender?
