I can't get into specifics. But different airlines have different standards. And in some cases, yes. It happened after they were hired at their current regional.

p.s. I know who you're talking about, but sorry no I'm not. Not even close. I'd hardly call myself an envoy cheerleader either...far from it. This place has gone down the tubes and I can't wait to get out. I will say it is nice having a light at the end of the tunnel and it not being a freight train, something I wouldn't have said a year ago.

Don't come to Mesa, with the flows, $30-$40 an hour first year pay at other regionals, there is no reason to come here.
The quick upgrade train has sailed, you had to of been hired by winter 2014 to have a guaranteed Ca spot. Even with the 18 new 175s coming.
We need empty classes to pressure managment for a new contract.

Seriously, don't come to Mesa. Much better deals elsewhere. If you come here now, you are probably the type that would work for free or pay for a job, and doesn't need health insurance. And if you somehow make an upgrade, you will be on reserve FOREVER!!!
Every Mesa base is senior on CA side. As in, 2013 hire with fast upgrade has had majority of time been on reserve.
