Flow metered starting Jan 2023. In emails. Mgmt has gotten complacent and fat off DECs

Meanwhile all the guys I went to flight school with who went to OO are posting selfies with their AA CJOs in envelopes

I bet Delta and United would be happy to have you.

I already have one foot out the door but I’m still incensed by this news.

Pfftt. Envoy has a good business plan??? Yes, they have the backing of AAG. It was their money that got all the WOs the raises. Nothing Envoy did on its own. They have always been reactive and the corrections they make are usually too late to have a positive impact and in fact often are so far out of sync they do more harm than good. This is exactly what stifling the flow will do.

While some of the DECs currently being hired may want to be lifers, I think a significant number will bail before two years. Since Envoy has also chosen to basically shut off any cadets and non DEC hiring, many of those are choosing to go elsewhere. There’s going to come a time again in the near future where Envoy doesn’t have captains AND no FOs to upgrade.

You must be a troll. There is no reason, at all, to come to Envoy.

Our union touted enhancements, well let’s look at them

Pay-temporary while most competitors got permanent
long call- 2 lines, which means none
trip/duty rigs- start in January while PDT had min day start in June
flow - 8-9 years, which is worthless

CS absuses us, our union has no backbone, blatant contract violations galore with no repercussion.

why would anyone come to envoy?

We shall see. This has been a long time coming and every pilot has benefited.

4 per month may not seem like much but everyone should do this:

Whatever time to flow you thought you had before today, multiply that by 1.2. That’s a pretty significant difference even if you’re kinda close.

"You must be a troll. There is no reason, at all, to come to Envoy" * Frontier* JetBlue* Southwest* who have the exact same type of work rules.

So if you went to Envoy strictly for the flow and not the big picture, that's on you.

dude. Really? Spirits 75% green is the same as the idiotic red/redder? You think those majors have the same reserve rules and work rules as envoy? You’re either really dumb, RW, RN, or just a troll.
