No I don't think so. Envoy has a good business plan and they are all in for the long term. Just look at the fact they are hiring a bunch of older guys with previous 121 experience that they know will stick around until they either retire or flow. They have the backing of AA and a savvy CEO that is tied to AA so they are not going anywhere. Market dyamics right now, nobody really knows but I think anyone going to Envoy right now should be in a good place.

Flow metered starting Jan 2023. In emails. Mgmt has gotten complacent and fat off DECs
Meanwhile all the guys I went to flight school with who went to OO are posting selfies with their AA CJOs in envelopes

While some of the DECs currently being hired may want to be lifers, I think a significant number will bail before two years. Since Envoy has also chosen to basically shut off any cadets and non DEC hiring, many of those are choosing to go elsewhere. There’s going to come a time again in the near future where Envoy doesn’t have captains AND no FOs to upgrade.

Our union touted enhancements, well let’s look at them
Pay-temporary while most competitors got permanent
long call- 2 lines, which means none
trip/duty rigs- start in January while PDT had min day start in June
flow - 8-9 years, which is worthless
CS absuses us, our union has no backbone, blatant contract violations galore with no repercussion.
why would anyone come to envoy?

Whatever time to flow you thought you had before today, multiply that by 1.2. That’s a pretty significant difference even if you’re kinda close.
