Under 6 years.....LMAO!!!!! As if that's something to brag about. And no, they do NOT have the best flow in the industry. You're better off going elsewhere with a company who ACTUALLY flies you.

When you're hired with the stipulation you'll be flying 75+ hrs/mo then are given 15, that's a problem. You're not flowing ANYWHERE until you've at least logged the hours. You should be able to flow from Envoy after you've reached 1500 hrs (16 months under normal flying conditions). Do the math....75 hrs per month for 4 yrs is 3600 hrs (more than enough), so if it takes you 6 yrs they're not giving you the hours.

They promised 75 hrs/mo in the interview and then gave me 15. At that rate, it would've taken over 8 yrs. I made it to AA over a year faster than those in my Envoy class bc I left, went to another regional, and applied on my own.

It's a sham.

Party's officially over 2027. That's when the retirement wave ends. If it coincides with a depression and AA is shrinking during that period there might be a (brief) stay of execution but if you get hired after they replace those guys you're looking at being VERY junior for a VERY long time.

Because the person who made it up decided 3 years sounded good to them.

New flow plan out. Either there is going to be A LOT of pilots sitting around doing nothing for a while or the 145s are going to leave slower than projected.

Does it consider the numbers of pilots current being hired by the other majors?

No. That would take WAY too much into account. The only thing it considers is training slots and the contractual hierarchy of who goes in what order.

I think there will indeed be quite a few sitting around. But you do have to consider that there are some who will never make it to training because of their retirement/flow/resignation.

AFAIK, there has been no official announcement about when the 145s will be gone in ORD. They may end up sending pilots back there TDY from DFW to cover it depending who is still available based on the training order and draw down.

The other interesting part is the Air Wisconsin part. They have 60 planes, which is more than ENY has 145s. I think they will have to push some of those planes down to DFW, even though that has not been talked about either.

Post Start date

Hey guys, got a CJO back in June and still heard nothing from envoy for a training date. Drug test/fingerprints were done and they asked for some papers last month but still no start date. Hate being in the dark. When do you think they'll come around?
