How about we just agree to disagree.

Everyone knows the facts. Most junior CA is 6 years. Most junior awarded CA is 4 years.

Assumptions likely to happen - CA upgrade time will drop for the next bid.

Guys in upgrade now are late 2011 and even some late 2012 going through qu by summer on the line will be 5 years, next bid will go into 2014 and those doing qu will be online by late summer making it 3 years. A bid award to line isn't instant but 145 qu is moving in a timely manner.

Not to bad I guess, thanks for the reply, still not the answer I'm looking for, let me rephrase it: How long did you waited after they offer you the Job until you started Indoc, until you started as an employee in training, did it took a while to get a class date?

The most recent upgrade class that started has at least one mid/late 2012 hire. So the next bid should go deep into 2013.

Weird. Many early 2011 guys are still waiting to go to upgrade class. And they're not scheduled to go any time soon according to the flow plan.

Is it possible to get the CRJ or EMB-175 as a new hire?

Go to the latest flow plan. Scroll all the way to the bottom, second to last name. Initials JH.

Edit: on the flow plan they just have his last name, which starts with an "H". Seniority number is 13xx

And all early 2011 guys are officially finished or going through checkrides this next week. Most in the current class that is about to start sim are mid 2011 guys. This is all ERJ, of course. E175 upgrades are waiting until summer to begin training.

Crj isn't very likely as. 175 is possible if you're old enough. It goes very senior and if your under 40 years of age it'll be tough.

Thanks for this info. I really wasn't wanting to spend time going through the flow plan.
