Other than that, it should be a back pocket insurance. At the end a regional is a regional, if you get into a WO just thinking to sit there until flow, you're doing it wrong.
rah was an example, i'd prefer PDT, PSA, or 9E for the backup of flow or PI. Several pilots I jumpseated with on AA said apply to everywhere despite having the flow. Keep everything up to date and if you get a call great, if you don't, you've got the flow potentially to fall back on.

If DFW is important to you take Envoy. Driving to training events, recurrent and reserve makes the job vastly better. Even if you didn't get DFW out the gate it shouldn't take long. The bid that closes tomorrow has spots for 40 DFW E145 FOs and should get guys hired in the last couple of months back to DFW.

Plenty of competition, lot of tough choices and no reason to settle. Hopefully things get better while I wait to reach 1500hrs.
Most at Envoy that have a decade or more of seniority are not waiting for flow. They have not received invites to interview at the legacies. The flow is nice, but be ready to spend some time wherever you land. During your time there, try and make it a better place until you are called up to the big leagues.

Those with a decade at Envoy will flow with vacation accrual of 4-5 weeks. Most of the guys I flew my time at Envoy are not updating their apps or doing what it has to be done to move into a legacy.

Crj staying until 2018 at least and there will be no displacements.

According to dacuj, everything is good here, so jr line holders won't mind the reserve lines.
Attrition you genius. Captains flow or leave, and FO's upgrade as the fleet shrinks. That's why it's not happening overnight. Maybe you didn't get the memo but they sent an HI6 about it.

Just be warned: the DFW - anywhere commute in the DL system is tough. (LGA would probably be your best bet.) Lots of DL commuters live in the Metroplex back from the DFW domicile glory days. Seems like whenever I operate through there we've got a jumpseater and when I try to 2-leg from AUS/SAT the loads are tight.

None of the options for additional E-175's for Envoy have been exercised as far as we know.

At last check, AA is right near scope limits for "large RJ's." If they start pulling seats out of CRJ's operated by other AA feeders (or re-configuring them for fewer seats with the addition of first class) that would be a good sign of options about to be announced.

Sometime in the near future, Embraer is planning on switching their production line over to the E2 line, with geared turbofans and other improvements. The E2 version of the 175 is above scope limits for MGTOW. I would guess if Embraer doesn't hear from AA on those options, we will see them switch to producing E2's, but that is only speculation on my part.

If you move to another city because of APC good luck to ya. Stay in DFW, life isn't as bad as some here say especially if you live in base.
